The Old Granary is a truly delightful home, which has been well designed, offering interesting features throughout, yet not been compromised by style over substance.

Having appreciated the double fronted home with flint stone elevations, this property will rise to your expectations. As you go through the front door and see the double height entrance and the galleried landing, it is cottagey and homely, without feeling restrictive.

The main reception room, running along the full length of the south side of the home provides an opportunity to have a large dedicated sitting area, or even include a small dining space too. From this room you can access the garden, retained by flint stone walls and views of the South Downs.

There is a separate dining room for more formal entertaining. Or, can be used as a study or occasional bedroom.

The kitchen is in a Country style with a step down leading to a conservatory. You can enjoy your morning coffee here, or an afternoon tea. That is if you have not headed  into the nearby Village for someone else to serve you.

Upstairs you will first be impressed by the aforementioned galleried landing. Here you can place an occasional chair and enjoy more views of the Downs (yes, another one). You will also find the master bedroom which has en-suite, plus a further two bedrooms and a bathroom.

We love this house. Not just for the features, the beauty of the location and accommodation, but it has a little something unique about it which feels very welcoming  in our opinion.
